Shehan Samarasinha

Known as a "planning head with a creative heart", Shehan Samarasinha holds the position of Director & Chief Strategy Officer at Triad, Colombo.   In just two years Shehan has helped transform Triad into one of the most awarded in Sri Lanka with over 50 international awards including 1 grand prix, 10 gold, 6 silver, 14 bronze, 20 finalists resulting in the agency being named "South Asia Independent Agency of the Year 2021" at Campaign Agency of the Year Awards, which is a 1st for any agency in Sri Lanka.  Shehan has also been named the 1st Sri Lankan to be awarded "Global Strategic Planning Leader of the Year 2021 - Finalist" and "South Asia Strategic Brand Planner of the Year 2021 & 2020". Shehan has also been called upon to serve on numerous international juries ranging from Effie APAC, Effie South Africa, Effie Sri Lanka, Cresta Awards, AD Stars, and NewYorkFestivals.  Shehan regularly gives back through knowledge sharing and workshops aimed at raising the bar of strategy and creativity in the industry.
