In 2023, PHD Europe took a major step forward by expanding and diversifying our product offering, developing our specialist services, and helping more of our clients and people use our ‘Agency as a Platform’ for growth.

This ‘Agency as a Platform’ (AaaP) approach complements that of our parent company, Omnicom Media Group (OMG) – with whom we work closely to leverage advanced technologies and tools, develop custom builds, and grow our capabilities at scale. Our central hub, Omni Studio, empowers 3,000 European employees to collaborate in real-time, crafting innovative cross-market campaigns that merge creativity and technology seamlessly. This year, platform usage surged +30%, propelling a record-breaking launch of 5,958 campaigns for 20 regional clients, including Diageo, Volkswagen, and Sanofi — a 19% increase year-over-year (YOY). These campaigns achieved remarkable effectiveness, securing 36 major global awards—a 20% rise in gold medals versus 2022. Bolstered by this heightened productivity, we acquired 56 major clients, with new billings exceeding $240 million—a 10.7% increase YOY (source: COMvergence). Furthermore, we prioritised our workforce's professional development, expanding our learning portal, launching a leadership development program, and reinforcing our commitment to diversity and equality through the establishment of employee resource groups and the promotion of female leadership.
